What is a parent cooperative preschool?
As a parent cooperative school we provide a unique opportunity for parents to become involved in the educational process. Each classroom has both a lead teacher and an aide present during class time. We ask for parent volunteers to participate in a variety of ways such as sharing their talents/interests, or helping with our special events throughout the school year. Our school administration is comprised of a director, the teachers and parent committee heads. Each month the administration meet to review the upcoming programs and activities.

Our school exterior doors are locked through the duration of the school day and opened only when parent drop-off and pick up is scheduled. Parents bring their children to class and children are only released to parents or a parent designated care-giver.

What if a parent can not participate in school as part of the Cooperative?
We are flexible and willing to work with the availability of our preschool families. If a grandparent or other family member is available, they can act as the liaison for the parents.
